Happy New Year!

It has taken me an incredibly long time to find my blog today. It is obvious that I need to do this more often!

Spent Christmas with my sister Phyllis and her family in Pennsylvania. We had a good visit and, of course, lots of good eating. We did our family's traditional meal - turkey, chestnut stuffing, etc. etc. - capped off by the flaming plum pudding. We love the pudding but judging by the expressions of the "first timers" it must be an acquired taste.

I returned home on 12/27 and on New Year's Eve Phyllis and Eric traveled to my house to attend the library's New Year's Eve Steve Forbert concert with me. The event went well - was sold out - and Chef Ian had more food than could possibly be consumed. Two Commissioners (Mr. Harding and Mr. Mullins) attended which was nice.
